Homer Whisenant, a Texas native, started playing at an early age. Learning songs from listening to the family’s 78 rpm record collection, an older brother’s rock and blues 45’s and dancehall bands. These days he plays a mix of country, swing, blues and jazz as well as his own originals. Homer can be seen and heard around various venues in the Hill Country.
